Kristi Johnson – Managing Partner

Prior to co-founding Adroit Partners, Kristi’s professional experience includes more than 25 years with international staffing firms where she had full responsibility for managing several business lines and up to $70 million in annual staffing spend. Kristi began her career with a regional firm headquartered in Houston where she spent ten years in sales and branch operations management. Kristi has been responsible for providing staffing solutions in finance, accounting, office professional and manufacturing positions for large complex users of contingent staffing and direct placement. She has designed, implemented and managed staffing programs for a few contingent workers up to several hundred, which included full-time hires, payroll services and 1099 contractors.
 
Kristi prides herself on her relationship driven consultative approach to understanding her clients’ business needs, and building trust with her clients by discovering and recommending solutions for some of their toughest business challenges.

DD Hulsey-Carpenter – Managing Partner

DD Hulsey-Carpenter has expertise in virtually every possible staffing position making her uniquely qualified in the industry. As a seasoned recruiter and respected leader, DD has had great success in building teams skilled at identifying candidates for both private and publicly traded companies across a wide range of industries that includes both start-up organizations and Fortune 500 companies.  Prior to co-founding Adroit Partners, DD was most recently in an executive leadership role as the Vice President and General Manager for the central region of the United States where she had P&L responsibility and managed multiple branch and client on-site operations for a $70+ million business unit for an international staffing solutions firm. DD spent 15 years with a regional firm headquartered in Houston, rising through the ranks of the organization to manage the Houston market.
 
DD is motivated by standards of excellence to exceed expectations while attracting, developing and retaining a team with an equal desire to excel. A significant characteristic of DD’s career is the ability to build cohesive, effective teams through her strong hiring ability and nurturing leadership style.
